About the Event

Money Laundering is a potential indicator of terrorist funding and other global crimes, making AML training even more necessary. Our courses intend to familiarize employees with the process of money laundering — the criminal business used to disguise the true origin and ownership of illegal cash — and the laws that make it a crime.

  • Ongoing Moneyval assessment

Part 2:  Know Your Customer

  • Outsourcing requirements and liability
  • Customer Onboarding Requirements including identification and verification of private and legal entities/clients and their representatives, customer lifecycle process, measures to assess customer related risks, due diligence
  • Data Retention: registering, submitting, saving, and deleting data
  • Definition of wallet?

PART 3 : Effective AML Program

  • Payments on SWIFT/SEPA vs Blockchain
  • Sanctions: Customer and Transaction screening requirements
  • Know Your Transaction
  • How to detect suspicious customer activity and implementing the necessary due diligence measures and their compliance with the risk assessment

PART 4: Red Flags and Reporting Suspicious Activity

  • How to Design and Implement Controls
  • What are the elements for  reporting
  • RED Flags indicators according to FATF
  • Criminal activity trends in the crypto market
  • What are the trends of most influential institutions and organizations?  European Commission, Financial Intelligence Unit trends, Moneyval etc
